*Mini Golf King* is, at its heart, exactly what you’d expect: a mobile mini-golf game. But don’t let that fool you, it’s surprisingly addictive. You’re basically trying to sink that little ball in the hole with as few strokes as possible. Sounds simple, right? WRONG! The physics are actually pretty decent (for a mobile game, anyway), so you have to take into account things like the angle of your shot, the power you put behind it, and any crazy obstacles in your way. Think windmills, moving platforms, and those annoying bouncy castle things that send your ball flying in random directions. You earn coins by playing (and winning, obviously), which you can then use to upgrade your clubs and balls. Better clubs give you more power and accuracy, while different balls offer unique advantages, like extra spin or bounce. There’s also a chest system, typical of freemium games, that gives you random rewards, but it's not *too* pay-to-win...at least not in the early stages. The progression system is pretty standard fare, but the sheer variety of courses keeps things relatively fresh. And yeah, there are power-ups. Because of course there are.
